The highlight of this report is that the condo price increases on a percentage basis are finally recovering and are catching up to the increases in residential prices which is very encouraging news for condo owners.
The number of sold properties in Ottawa in September 2018, 347 condominiums, increased 11.9% from September 2017, and 1,046 residential properties, a decrease of 2.5% from September 2017.
The total number of sold properties 1,393 compared with 1,383 in September 2017 a increase of 0.7%
The average sale price for residential-class property was $449,613 an increase of 7.9% from September 2017.
The average sale price for condominium-class property was $282,781 an increase of 7.6% from September 2017.
